Reading & Writing Workshop – 5th Grade

Dates: June 29 - July 10, 2026 Price: $270/week

This program is taught by Sanford Upper School teacher, Noel Williams. This class is specifically designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of stage acting. Students will develop essential skills in acting improvisation, visualization, breathing, and relaxation techniques. Additionally, they will acquire a robust vocabulary of theater terms. No previous acting experience is necessary, as this class is open to all students. This program is led by Troby Roosevelt, a teacher at Sanford Upper School. In painting class, students learn to be inspired by still life, images, imagination, and nature through their exploration and observation of light, color, and composition using a variety of media and techniques. Students will have the opportunity to develop their personal style and to study the work of master artists. Please note: This class requires a 2-week minimum commitment, for the weeks of June 15 and June 22. The tuition listed below is the weekly rate, not the 2-week rate.
